Welcome to my podcast, What In The World, hosted by me, Ollie Dennett. This podcast gives me the opportunity to speak to a variety of people all about what is currently going on in the world... well at the time of being recorded anyway! With so much going on in todays society, there is more that we don't see or hear about, so this is where I step in and give you a little insight into industries, individuals and ideas about how we can exploit ourself to world differently!

Ep 15 - Welcome along to Episode 15 of What In The World. In this episode we speak to Sam Creasey ahead of his fight on the 28th October in Rome for CW 162. Understanding the life of a professional, sacrifices and achievements, listen to find out about what it takes mentally and physically.
I also speak to Abidan Edwards about breaking into the professional industry of football. Identifying how he became a goalkeeper, getting scouted, TV appearances and the quiz, Six Fire Questions, find out what score Abidan got and you can play along too!
Ep 14 - Jesse Heiman speaking about films he's been in, cast members Jesse has worked with and ways in which the freelance world is different to full time contracts. I also sit down with Home Renovator Paul Baker to identify what to look for in a house investment, ways you can help your home and what's so good about the worse house in the street? Ep 13 - I will be talking to Hits, Heat & Kiss Presenter & DJ, Jordan Lee about his inspirations into radio, he will be victim of the quiz 'Six Fire Questions' and we will discover secrets about your favourite artists. Additionally, I'll chat with Nicola, the manager of the UK biggest allotment, St Anns in Nottingham. Hear about the USP of St Anns, why it is important to obtain local produce to what foods are the best to grow.
Ep 12 - I speak to 41 year old Mark Cotterill who has cystic Fibrosis, join me as I find out effects of the conditions, his childhood growing up and his 80 mile challenge, from the Bahamas to Florida. I also chat to Laura Willoughby about our alcohol limits and what we can do to lower our intake, alternative drinks available and Laura's own personal story.
Ep 11 - As Social Media Day is the 30th June, I speak with Influencer, Social Media Brand Expert, Presenter and Motivational Speaker Jemelin Artigas. June is also Pride month and to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community I chat with Prishita Maheshwari-Aplin all about their journey with their gender, how they found belonging and how a school friend was crucial in Prishita's upbringing.
Ep 10 - From The Coronation, King Charles, the Royal Concert, I cover the whole event by chatting to Monarchist Anita Atkinson, find out who her favourite royal is. In addition to this, it was the 67th Eurovision song contest held in Liverpool and what an event it was. Find out from Karl Emmerson about how he found out about working the event, the atmosphere around Liverpool and what his expectations were of the woman herself, Mae Muller.
Ep 9 - I speak with referee Andy Halliday all about the abuse officials face on the pitch. As it is marathon month, I speak with pace-runner Martin Morgan about what it is like to run at certain pace for such a distance, leading so many runners in the biggest running event of the year. Furthermore marathon fanatic Gary McKee speaks to me all about running 365 marathons in 365 days all for MacMillian Cancer Support & Hospice At Home West Cumbria.
Ep 8 - Professor Tim Wilson speaks all about his career. From his time in The Circle, stand off with Mr Nigel Farage and what made Tim a Professor in the first place. Also, I speak with Hannah Mary all about the highs and lows of emigration. From having her own experience, I understand what it is like packing up your possessions, saying goodbye to your loved ones and paving the way for a new life in a new country. Along with all of this, with International Women's Day and Mother's Day, you tell me the most inspirational women in your life.
Ep 7 - I will be unravelling the truth about gameshows. Discussing the programmes The Traitors, Bad Chefs and Romeo & Duet. Understanding what components make up the ideal gameshow, speaking about the true selling points of what grips you to the TV. I chatted with Yosias about his time on a variety of gameshows including the channels of ITV, Sky Vegas and YouTube, along with giving him his very own quiz. I also spoke to Andrea Addison, Traitors UK Series 1 contestant about the programme, from her fellow cast members, to what Claudia Winkleman is really like and find out the secrets Andrea unveiled. Listen to find out all of this and more.
Ep 6 - 2022 marks 100 years of the BBC. To celebrate the anniversary I will be speaking about what makes the BBC so iconic with my guest Abbie Thomson. From a career aspiration to living and breathing the industry, find out what makes TV, the platform it is today. I also speak with Liars Club manager, Cameron Knowles. From getting up to start your day while everyone else is falling asleep, to speaking and serving the public, I find out what it takes to manage a business booming with booze!

Ep 5 - The Ambulance Service and Palestine v Israel - I speak to paramedic Andy, all about what it is like working on the front line in a global pandemic. The stress, emotion and professionalism are all part of delivering a service everyday, but take a listen to find out some things that go unnoticed in the pressures of the job. I also speak to Samir, who has been personally effected by the on-going conflict between Palestine and Israel and what it is like to live in such an environment.

Ep 4 - Kitchen Cooking - In Episode 4 of What In The World, I speak to Chef Mahi all about his upbringing and why cooking is so important to him and the unique style he brings, because of his culture. I also speak about topics including the death of Prince Philip and other world related issues.

Ep 3 - Stand Up Comedy - Why not take a listen into this podcast as I chat to comic Jack Gleadow. If you have a creative mindset, or just want to find out how comedians get their inspiration this is definitely for you. Speaking openly about encounters, inspirations and festivals, I was devastated this interview had to end.

Understanding struggles and what is the best way to approach them, I find out how you can overcome the toughest of tests to better yourself in todays world.
